Established 2019
Portal Heathercore began in 2019 when founder Soo-yeon Park — a former corporate accountant who had spent fifteen years reconciling physical asset registers for shipping firms in Incheon — started keeping her own Bitcoin holdings on numbered ledger pages after a colleague lost access to an exchange account during a routine password reset.
She bound the first prototype journal by hand in her Yeonsu-gu apartment, using acid-free paper sourced from a mill in Jeollanam-do. Three colleagues in her Saturday morning investment reading group asked for copies. By late 2019 she had registered the business, leased Office 9 on Example-ro, and installed a small perfect-binding line capable of producing fifty journal sets per week.
What we do today
We remain a bindery-first operation. Our team of four — two bindery technicians, one layout designer, and Soo-yeon handling client correspondence — produces every journal in-house. We do not resell third-party stationery or white-label generic notebooks. Each format is designed specifically for recording wallet addresses, transaction hashes, storage locations, and quarterly reconciliation notes.
Working approach
Clients receive a serial-numbered bundle with a format guide written in plain English. We match reprint orders to the original serial so page layouts stay consistent across years. For holders who need witness signature blocks or custom column headers — for example, separating Layer-2 positions from cold-storage multisig — we offer a brief layout consultation before printing.
Values
We believe custody discipline is a physical habit. Writing an address by hand, dating the entry, and initialing the margin creates a record that survives device failure, account lockouts, and the passage of time. Our journals are built for investors who intend to hold for decades and want their heirs to find a clear paper trail.
Community
We sponsor the monthly Incheon Private Holders meetup at a library reading room near Songdo Central Park, where attendees compare filing systems and journal formats. If you are in the area, Soo-yeon usually attends the first Tuesday of each month.
