Refund Policy

Overview

Portal Heathercore prints journals to order. Because each bundle is produced specifically for you, refund terms differ from mass-produced goods. This policy explains when refunds apply and how to request one.

Eligibility for full refund

You may receive a full refund if:

• You cancel your order before production begins (before your bundle enters the binding queue)
• We cannot fulfil your order due to material shortages or bindery error
• The delivered product is materially defective (binding failure, missing volumes, wrong serial number)

Partial refunds

A partial refund may apply when:

• You cancel after production has started but before shipping (we deduct material and labour costs incurred)
• One volume in a multi-volume bundle is defective while others are acceptable
• A custom layout consultation was completed but you decide not to proceed with printing

Non-refundable items

The following are not eligible for refund:

• Completed and shipped journal bundles that match the confirmed order specification
• Quarterly reprints that were produced to match your serial number and shipped correctly
• Custom layout consultation fees after the consultation session has taken place
• Rush production surcharges if the rush order was fulfilled within the agreed timeline
• Shipping costs for delivered orders (unless the shipment was lost or returned due to our error)

Cancellation

Contact hello@portal-heathercore.click or call +82 32 0000 2031 to cancel. Cancellations received before Thursday of the order week typically qualify for a full refund. Later cancellations are evaluated based on production status.

Rescheduling

If you need to delay shipment, we can hold completed bundles in our office for up to thirty days at no charge. Longer holds may incur a storage fee of ₩5,000 per month.

Deposits

We do not require deposits for standard orders. Custom orders exceeding ₩300,000 may require a 50% deposit, refundable under the cancellation terms above.

No-shows for consultations

Custom layout consultations scheduled by appointment are refundable if cancelled at least twenty-four hours in advance. Missed appointments without notice are non-refundable.

Work already started

Once your journal enters the binding queue (typically the Monday after order confirmation), materials are cut and pages are printed. Cancellation at this stage qualifies for a partial refund only.

Purchased materials

Special-order paper or binding materials procured specifically for your order are non-refundable if production has begun.

Refund process

1. Email hello@portal-heathercore.click with your order reference and reason for the refund request
2. We respond within two business days with a decision and, if applicable, the refund amount
3. Approved refunds are processed by bank transfer to the original payment account within ten business days

Defective products

If you receive a defective product, photograph the issue and contact us within fourteen days of delivery. We will arrange a replacement or full refund for the affected items, including return shipping costs if a return is required.
